Dallas, TX –An accident that killed one passenger and seriously injured another resulted in the arrest of the driver on suspicion of drunken driving. The 22-year-old driver, Komborerai Chekenyere, was driving his vehicle north in the 10600 block of Midway Road around 5:00 a.m. when his vehicle drifted to the right and he hit a concrete retaining wall. Robyn Kemp, 27, who was sitting in the back seat, died in the accident. The passenger in the front seat, Jaymillya Chekenyere, age 30, was seriously injured. Komborerai Chekenyere faces intoxication manslaughter and intoxication assault charges. He was booked into the Lew Sterrett Justice Center and his bail is set at $70,000.
